Genshin Impact from miHoYo is a magical adventure RPG with great visuals. It has been in the works for a while now for multiple platforms including mobile, Nintendo Switch, and PS4. Pre-orders for it went live recently and the game was available to download as a preload beginning last night. The servers went live a few hours ago on iOS, Android, PS4, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version is releasing at a later date. As detailed before, Genshin Impact includes both singleplayer and multiplayer including cross platform support. Cross progression will not be available between PS4 and other platforms but PS4 players will be able to play online with other platforms. Watch the Genshin Impact version 1.0 gameplay trailer below:
I would’ve loved to play it on iPhone 11 and sync to PS4 but that isn’t possible. The PS4 version has exclusive in-game content as well. On iOS, you need to download about 4GB of data from within the game after you download the initial release from the App Store so keep that in mind. The background downloading worked well for me. If you’re interested in checking it out, you can download Genshin Impact on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here for free. The PC version is available on the official website here. It is just under 12GB on PC. Have you tried any of the closed betas so far and were you looking forward to Genshin Impact?
